It is a bit complicated to describe how this limited edition print came to be. It started as a standard photograph but was then projected through oil droplets, rephotographed, and combined with an image of another tree. The result reminded me of van Gough’s Starry Night, hence the title of the piece. To me, the print has a mystical feel to it. There are three images in this series which, as shown, combines nicely into a tryptic.
The edition is limited to 5 prints, after which no further images will be produced in any size. Each print is signed and numbered in the margin.

Framed Size: 26 × 26 ×1 5/8 inches
