Acrylic painting.
The photo of this painting can be a bit deceiving. The actual canvas extends to the white border. The large rectangle that contains the painting has very marked texture, which was made by applying modeling paste to the canvas. This textured material is allowed to dry before paint is applied.
I titled this piece “Breathe” because at the time I was making it I was having a creative crisis and decided the best thing was to slow down, breathe, and just see what came out on the canvas.
The painting is signed in the lower right corner, on the front.

Framed Size: 25 1/4 × 31 1/4 ×2 1/4 inches
