Whaleshead Beach

Whaleshead Beach was another destination on my recent trip to the Southern Oregon Coast. Luckily, I was with friends who knew just were to go.

It was the ‘S’ shape of the water leading to the ocean that made me want to make this photograph. In my next post, you will see why the beach is called “Whaleshead”.

Hint: It has nothing to do with visiting whales, though I strongly suspect that they do visit.
