Harris Beach Sea Stacks

On my last trip to Oregon, I decided to roam the coast south of Bandon, which is an area I hadn’t ventured to before. It helps to go with great friends and photographers (with social distancing), who know the area well and can get you to great places. The first night of our journey we ended up at Harris Beach in Brookings, Oregon. Harris Beach has amazing sea stacks, just as Bandon does. In fact, all the beaches I went to on my trip south had pretty awe inspiring stacks; it’s part of what makes the Oregon Coast so spectacular.

The sunset was beautiful and this 2 minute exposure (using a neutral density filter) smoothed out the water, giving it a ‘dreamy’ experience. It was a fantastic place to photograph!
