Cool Fog / Warm Light

While at Bandon Beach I usually make my photographs down on the beach itself, but on this particular day I wanted to get a different viewpoint so I began looking for compositions from Face Rock Overlook. The day was foggy, but the color of the sea stacks always seems to get warm if any sunlight falls on them at all. I enjoyed the contrast of the warm and cool tones and made a long exposure to blur the water and allow it to recede into a cool colored background while placing attention on the sea stacks themselves.
