Quick Quotes: David duChemin

"That we so often learn photography as first a technical pursuit and only second as an expressive one means many of us, to use the metaphor of language, know all about verbs and nouns without ever having had to choose them and string them into a sentence"David duChemin

I really like this quote because it is so true that many people can spend so long learning and arguing about the purely technical aspects of photography and, while the technical side is definitely an important pillar, that pillar alone is not what makes a great photograph.  As Ansel Adams said "there is nothing worse than a sharp image of a fuzzy concept".
