Cape Perpetua

Several month’s ago, I had the opportunity to visit the town of Yachats on the Oregon Coast. Just a few miles from the town is Cape Perpetua, the highest point on the coast. Once you get to the top, the view is spectacular. In the mornings, the conditions are often foggy and, from the top, you might well be above the fog. When the fog clears you can see many miles out to sea. It really is a spectacular place to visit. And when done, my favorite place to go is the Green Salmon Coffee Shop.

Just a few miles further down the road is the Spouting Horn and Devil’s Churn.
