Photographers Who Inspire: Alex Morley

As part of my YouTube series to present photographers who inspire me (and who I think/hope might inspire you as well) , I would like to introduce you to Oregon Photographer Alex Morley. In addition, towards the end of the video, I make what I hope is an interesting point about the bonds that can be formed by the common interest of photography.

I hope that you are able to glean some inspiration and ideas from Morley's work that will help move your own work forward, be it on the Oregon Coast or elsewhere. What do you find most interesting about his work? Do you agree with my comments at the end of the video about the special types of bonds that photography can help make? Have you had similar experiences?

The Oregon Coast is truly one of the most beautiful locations I have personally photographed. If you are considering a photography trip to the Oregon Coast and are looking for a guidebook, I don't believe you can do better than the two I use (these are affiliate links and I get a small commission if you make a purchase, at no additional cost to you):

'The Oregon Coast Photo Road Trip' by Rick and Susan Sammon (which they dedicated to Morley)
'Photographing Oregon' by Greg Vaughn
