The Scene In Stone Folio

The "Scene In Stone" folio consists of 12 prints, 8.5x11 inches in size, from my "Scene In Stone" project, along with the case/cover and artist's booklet, which contains an additional inlaid print.  They are printed an archival semi-gloss baryta fina art paper. This project utilized a technique called "cross-polarization" in conjunction with macro-photography to look into small areas of stones (15x20 mm) which themselves seem to portray an entire landscape.

The "Scene In Stone" folio prints include:

A photograph of a portion of stone that looks like the Badlands
An abstract photograph of stone that looks like sand dunes seen from above
A mountain sunrise seen as an abstract photograph in a piece of stone
Photograph of Jasper stone that looks like a mesa
An abstract photograph of stone that looks like hills
Abstract photo of a stone slab that looks like two trees
A photograph of a piece of stone that looks like the edge of a cliff.
Mount Sinai, as seen in a photograph of a piece of stone.
Abstract photo of stone that looks like a river by a hillside.
Abstract photograph of a piece of rock that looks like rolling hills
Abstract photo of a slab of rock that looks like a volcano
Abstract photograph of stone whose shape looks like a map of Florida
