Alien?

I had the opportunity to photograph at a beautiful sunflower field last week and perhaps I will show some of those field images, with the hundreds of flowers, when I process them. However, I was quite intrigued by some of the barely opened sunflowers. They seemed to have a very alien life form look to them. So I decided to spend some macro time with them.
