Phipps Is More Than Flowers

As many readers know, I photograph quite a bit at Phipps Conservatory. Particularly in winter, it’s a great place to go to photograph flowers and other botanicals when there aren’t any in the great outdoors. But Phipps isn’t only about flowers. There are several old and weathered statues there that I enjoy photographing. I am a fan of particularly expressive statues, and these two from Phipps fill the bill. This first one is actually in the correct orientation and is what you would see if you were standing right in front of the statue.
