Photographers Who Inspire: Penelope Taylor

Penelope Taylor is an inspiring photographer who eschews visible light, choosing to do all her photography using the infrared spectrum. I believe that the strength of her images lies in the fact that her compositions are photographed in IR, but not chosen because of the IR appearance. She uses the technique (and the IR look) to enhance her vision, not as her vision.

What is your reaction to Taylor's work? Do you agree that her compositions and vision are enhanced by IR and not chosen to show off the IR effect? Have you ever photographed in IR? Is it something you might like to try?
