Seal Rock: More Of The Painted Look

I recently posted an image of shorebirds that I had taken at Seal Rock. A grouping of sea stacks just offshore at the same location had waves breaking on them so, by focusing on one area and waiting for waves to come in, I was able to make some interesting images. However, the sky at the time was fairly bland and with my recent interest in the ‘painted nautical look’ I decided to, once again, see if I could make my photographic image into something that might transmit more of the feel of being there. It was actually fairly lonely being there by myself waiting for the sun to move towards the horizon, so I wanted to put some of that feeling into the image as well.

The time I had to spend at Seal Rock was fairly limited and it is a place I plan to visit again.
