Murals

I have always enjoyed making photos of murals that I run across that look interesting. Often I put just a small portion of the mural into the photo, such as in this image I posted some time ago.

I happened across this simple mural of a runner near the old Visitor Center in Ohiopyle State Park a month or two ago and was intrigued with it; particularly the contrast between the runner and the background.  There is no texture compositing in this image.....it is simply how it looked. Even now I am not sure why I like it....something about its simplicity.
