Alpha Falls in McConnell's Mill State Park is one of the most variable falls I have seen. It is formed not by a specific body of water, but by runoff from the cliff above. In a dry season it appears as just a trickle, but when there has been a good deal of rain it forms a tumbling staircase of water.
