Healthcare environments that are personalized and that transmit a feeling of calmness, restfulness, and healing can be created with the right choice of artwork. These environmental qualities are beneficial not only to patients, but to health care personnel as well.
As a practicing physician for over 25 years, I can safely say that I understand healthcare environments. I am both knowledgeable and aware of the type of setting that one would like to create at hospital facilities, outpatient clinics, and physician's offices. An environment that is personalized and transmits a feeling of calmness, restfulness, and healing can be created with the right choice of images. These types of environmental qualities are beneficial not only to patients, but to health care personnel as well.
I have had the opportunity to work with many other physicians in order to create peaceful office environments utilizing my landscape and nature photography.
In addition to individual offices I have also either had major artwork installations or displays at:
- Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA
- Excela Health Norwin Square, Phase I, Irwin, PA
- Excela Health Norwin Square, Phase II, Irwin, PA
- Frick Hospital Wound Clinic, Mt. Pleasant, PA
My background in both medicine and photography has given me a unique understanding of how artwork integrates with healthcare. I particularly enjoy the challenge of working with both healthcare facilities and individual physicians in order to create an environment that allows patients to feel comfortable and cared for. If you would like to discuss utilizing my artwork please contact me and I would be glad to discuss any project.
